If you don‘t use it, you lose it......

Read Proverbs 13:4
Your World In their book, Prime Time, Drs. Sharon and David Sneed write: “One of the most important parts of a health-oriented lifestyle is consistent exercise. Certainly a good diet and other preventive-medicine health measures impact one’s level of fitness; but without some exercise, you just cannot be fit” (emphasis theirs).

In other words, if we want to manage our bodies well, we will have to exercise regularly.
God’s Word In the agrarian society of the ancient Hebrews, people got plenty of exercise. And they reaped the reward: healthy bodies.

In our service-oriented society, we often get no exercise. But we need it as much as the Hebrew farmers did.
What can we expect to happen if we neglect this body-management responsibility?
“A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing” (Proverbs 20:4).

Those of us who won’t exercise will reap the undesired harvest of ill health.
Your Walk When starting an exercise program, start small, choose an activity you like, and be consistent.
Ten minutes a day, four times a week of walking, jogging, swimming, biking, or aer11obic dancing is a good place to start.

And if you’re like most people, you’ll have so much fun that 10 minutes a day will soon seem too short.

The saying, “If you don‘t use it, you lose it,” is especially true of the body.
